My drawings of 2020 to 2021 have become a visual journal, moments to remember, a kind of "book of hours" continuing, from days and seasons spent in close relationship to the life surrounding our home in the Stehekin River Valley. The present artwork records a devotion to seeing and experiencing life and growth within the forest, along the roads and trails, by the lake, river and streams. The 3 pieces included in this show, represent the transition between winter and spring in 2021, a time of rising waters. These have been excerpted from a group of about 60 pieces, crossing seasons.
