Myra Ramos Bergman
My connection to Stehekin goes back to my childhood when my photographer father Paul Bergman moved to the valley following WWII. My connection to quilting began with the hand-pieced wool quilt made by my grandmother and gathered speed following my retirement.
At the moment I am working with Yukatas, narrow panels of Japanese vintage fabric, by adding borders and quilting to enhance their beauty. Many patterns, such as these, celebrate nature.
